About

My name is Dr. Margaret “Maggie” Collins, and Shine Every Day is the result of a lifetime of learning, exploring, and living with curiosity about how we can all stay strong, healthy, and vibrant as we age.

I’ve always been fascinated by the idea that no matter where you go in the world, people have their own traditions, remedies, and secrets for staying well. That curiosity pushed me to travel, and over the years I’ve had the privilege of sitting with herbalists in remote villages, speaking with doctors at respected clinics, and listening to everyday people who managed to stay active and healthy well into their 80s and 90s. What I discovered was simple, yet powerful: the body has an incredible ability to heal and protect itself, if only we give it what it truly needs.

Of course, I wasn’t immune to the challenges of time. In my 40s, I started to notice the same things many people do—stiff joints, fatigue that crept in more often, and a mind that wasn’t always as sharp as it used to be. By my 50s, I realized I had a choice: accept that decline was inevitable, or apply what I had learned from my years of study and travel. I chose the latter. Slowly, by changing my habits, refining my diet, adding natural support, and treating my body with more respect, I found myself not only stopping the decline but reversing it.

Now, in my late 60s, I can honestly say I feel younger than I did decades ago. I walk daily without pain, I travel without worry, and I wake up excited for the day ahead. I have avoided the health crises that many of my peers face, not because I was lucky, but because I decided to invest in myself every single day. And along the way, I began helping those around me—friends, family, neighbors—who were struggling with the same issues I had once faced. One found relief from joint pain that had limited her for years. Another regained mental clarity he thought was lost forever. Others learned how to manage their blood sugar, protect their heart, or simply feel more energetic again. Each of their successes became my motivation to keep sharing what I know.

That’s what Shine Every Day is all about. It isn’t about miracle cures or quick fixes. It’s about the daily choices that add up over time—the food you eat, the habits you practice, the supplements that support you, the mindset you bring to life. Small steps that cost very little today but save you from enormous medical bills, pain, and regret later.

I share my journey and my knowledge here not to overwhelm you, but to inspire you. To remind you that it’s never too late to start, whether you’re in your 40s and just beginning to notice the signs of aging, or in your 70s and looking for ways to feel better, stronger, and more alive. I’ve seen firsthand that the body responds at any age when you give it care.

So welcome to Shine Every Day. This is my gift to you—years of learning, traveling, and personal experience distilled into practical guidance you can apply to your own life. My hope is that when you read these words, you’ll feel encouraged, motivated, and a little more confident that your best years can still be ahead of you.
